HEART OF PIZZA was founded in 2005 by Maria and Antonio Rossi, two Italian immigrants who brought their family's century-old pizza-making traditions to the heart of Chicago.
What began as a modest 500-square-foot pizzeria on a quiet downtown street was built on one simple promise: to create pizza that tastes like home – made with fresh, high-quality ingredients, crafted with care, and served with genuine hospitality.
Unlike corporate pizza chains, we never cut corners or compromise on what matters most. Every member of our team is trained in the Rossi family's time-honored techniques, ensuring that every pie (and every interaction) carries the same warmth and authenticity that defined our humble beginnings.
